Freight Shipping

Freight Shipping is used if your order's destination is not within one of our local delivery areas and includes large, bulky or heavy products. These items are transported via third party common freight carriers as a "curbside delivery". Please be aware that curbside delivery is NOT an in home delivery. Once shipped, the freight company will contact you directly to arrange final delivery to your home. Upon delivery, the freight company simply unloads your products in front of your home. They are not obligated to bring any items inside or remove empty boxes and packing material. In home delivery and enhanced delivery services are available in most areas for an additional charge. Please CONTACT US  for more information, options and pricing.

When receiving freight deliveries it is important to inspect your boxes and furniture for damage before signing the carrier's delivery receipt. If you find any items to be damaged beyond your repair, refuse the damaged piece, make note of it on the carrier's delivery receipt and contact us. This will allow us to make arrangements for a replacement to be sent right away. If damages are not noted on the delivery receipt, it becomes the customer's responsibility to pay for replacement goods and freight until the damaged piece has been returned to us.

Remote Locations

Customers living in remote or limited access areas may be subject to additional shipping charges. The website will not calculate these at checkout, however we will contact you regarding any extra fees before processing your order. If you have not placed an order yet, but have concerns about your delivery location, please feel free to contact us to review any extra fees or delivery options.

Shipping to Canada, Puerto Rico or Hawaii

We are able to ship to Canada. The website will not be able to provide shipping information, but we are able to assist via phone and email. Any orders processed will include shipping charges, customs charges, and applicable taxes (GST,PST,HST).

Overseas Shipments

We are unable to deliver overseas directly. We are happy to deliver to your port or freight forwarder. Overseas transport, final delivery to an overseas address, local duties, custom charges, surcharges, and any other applicable taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

Order Time

Watermark Living™ is the largest casual furniture dealer in the Southeastern United States. We maintain a very large inventory of in stock merchandise. In most cases in stock merchandise can be delivered to our local delivery areas within a few days. Freight shipments of in stock products typically leave within 5 business days. If your products are temporarily out of stock, or an unusual delay occurs, we will let you know as soon as possible and provide you with any information and options.

Sales Tax

Currently we do not collect sales tax for orders being delivered outside of the state of Florida. Each state has their own laws regarding sales or use tax. It is the responsibility of the customer to report your purchase and pay any applicable taxes to your local taxing agency.

Within the state of Florida we are obligated to collect sales tax. Each county may have different rates, and tax is calculated according to the location of the delivery. If your order is being delivered to a port or freight forwarder within Florida but is being shipped directly out of the state, we are still obligated to collect sales tax. We are able to refund your sales tax upon receipt of an itemized Bill of Lading. The Bill of Lading should include the vessel name, departure date, port of departure, final destination, and include our shipment in the contents.
