Outdoor Resin Wicker
Supplies Needed
- Bucket or Spray Bottle
- Soft Bristle Brush or Sponge
Always wear eye and skin protection to prevent liquid or other materials from entering your body.
Soiling and Spills:
It is best to remove soiling and spills as they happen as they will be much easier to clean. This can be done by rinsing the product thoroughly with fresh water and brushing with a soft bristle brush.
To remove stubborn dirt or stains from the frame or heavy soiling that has accumulated over time, clean the frames with warm, water and a mild soap. Brush with a soft bristle brush if necessary.
DO NOT USE SOLVENTS, AEROSOL CARBON TETRACHLORIDE, SCOURING AGENTS, JANITORIAL CLEANERS, GASOLINE, METAL BRUSHES OR HARD PLASTIC BRUSHES TO CLEAN YOUR WICKER. THESE SOLUTIONS/UTENSILS WILL BREAK THE INTEGRITY OF THE WICKER DOWN AND POSSIBLY CAUSE IT TO BECOME STICKY.
DO NOT USE A PRESSURE WASHER TO CLEAN YOUR FURNITURE. IT WILL VOID MOST FACTORY WARRANTIES. The force of compressed water can damage or remove the finish and could harm the fabric. Tossing patio furniture in a freshly treated pool IS NOT recommended. This can cause long term problems for both your furniture and your pool!
Cushions and Fabric:
After a soaking rain or anytime the cores of the cushions get wet it is best to stand the cushion on end to allow them to drain more quickly. This will prevent mold and mildew growth between the frame and the cushion.
Spot wash the fabric to clean spills by using a sponge or a soft bristle brush with a warm soapy solution of mild detergent (Joy® or Ivory® liquid). Brush or sponge the soiled area and rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Allow to air dry. Repeat if necessary.
DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR MACHINE DRY THE CUSHION CASINGS/COVERS. DOING SO MAY DAMAGES THE SEAMS OF THE CASE OR EVEN SHRINK THEM, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO RESTUFF WITH THE CORE!

Watermark Living™ warranties their resin wicker patio furniture against manufacturer defect for the following terms:
Furniture Frames: 3 years
Furniture Finish: 3 years
Cushions & Fabric: 1 year
